Análisis del riesgo arqueológico en el departamento de Sanagasta (La Rioja, Argentina): una herramienta para salvaguardar el patrimonio cultural

Abstract

En el 2020 se inician en La Rioja procesos de patrimonialización de la mano del Plan Federal de Patrimonio y Turismo Sostenible. En ese marco se desarrollaron algunos proyectos en el contexto de la pandemia de Covid 19, lo que posibilitó la generación de reflexiones en torno al estado y uso del patrimonio cultural, especialmente el arqueológico.Las investigaciones desarrolladas en el valle de Sanagasta dan cuenta de un amplio y variado registro arqueológico: arquitecturas residenciales en piedra, campos de cultivo y artefactos de molienda. Sin embargo, hasta el momento se desconocen los principales procesos de alteración que han sufrido los sitios arqueológicos y la proyección de los nuevos agentes que los procesos de patrimonialización, turísticos y productivos traerán consigo.En este trabajo se presentan los diversos agentes que afectan el patrimonio cultural mediante la confección de un mapa de riesgo de destrucción, con el fin de analizar las amenazas, definir áreas de sensibilidad arqueológica y determinar los controles y monitoreos necesarios para la preservación y conservación y la puesta en valor de los bienes patrimoniales del departamento.

This work presents a methodological proposal based on the risk management of cultural heritage that allows the identification of the various agents that affect it in the department of Sanagasta (La Rioja). Despite the patrimonialization processes developed in the province of La Rioja in recent years, until now the main processes of alteration that archaeological sites have suffered and the projection of the effects of the new agents involved in the processes of heritage construction, tourism and production on the archaeological record. Therefore, the study of the different agents of affectation the configuration of that affect cultural heritage by means of a destruction risk map, in order to analyze the threats, define areas of archaeological sensitivity and determine the controls and monitoring that are necessary for the preservation and conservation and the enhancement of the department's heritage assets.
