La desnacionalización territorial de los problemas históricos y sus lenguajes: trayectorias, políticas historiográficas y propuestas desde América Latina

Abstract

El hoy indiscutido éxito de la global history –o del global turn en historia, mucho más que la inclusión de "todo el mundo" en la agenda de la historia (R. Bertrand, 2015)– se debe, en líneas generales, a un puñado de procesos convergentes: la retracción del estado nación como unidad de análisis hegemónica; una crítica a la hiperespecialización y una coincidencia de intereses entre los cultores de estos enfoques y algunos movimientos antisistémicos que requieren de análisis de naturaleza global para fundar interpretaciones o argumentar acciones. Con base en este diagnóstico, el artículo pretende conectar recorridos de autores europeos, asiáticos y americanos con el propósito de identificar problemas y temas que, beneficiados por estos diálogos, pueden constituir vectores de innovación disciplinar.

The now undisputed success of global history -or the global turn in history, much more than the inclusion of “the whole world” in the history agenda (R. Bertrand, 2015)- is due, in general terms, to a handful of convergent processes: the retraction of the nation state as the hegemonic unit of analysis; a critique of hyperspecialization; and a coincidence of interests between the proponents of these approaches and some anti-systemic movements that require global analysis to found interpretations or argue for actions. Based on this diagnosis, the article aims to connect the paths of European, Asian and American authors in order to identify problems and issues that, benefiting from these dialogues, may constitute vectors of disciplinary innovation.
