La enseñanza mediada por el Estado y el mercado: el objeto manual escolar en Argentina (1984-2011)

Abstract

Los manuales escolares cumplen un rol fundamental en la enseñanza de los contenidos de una disciplina: lo que ingresa y lo que no en ellos aproxima al estudiantado a una visión del mundo entre otras posibles, por lo que su configuración no debería resultar intrascendente para el campo educativo. Este artículo parte de la hipótesis de que los manuales escolares se construyen en una relación entre el Estado y el mercado editorial escolar argentino y analiza tres casos, en el marco temporal que va desde 1984 a 2011: los manuales destinados a la enseñanza secundaria por las editoriales Santillana, Kapelusz y del Eclipse. En esa dirección, se reponen los abruptos y significativos cambios que tuvieron lugar en las vinculaciones entre Estado y editoriales escolares.

In this direction, the abrupt and significant changes that took place in the links between the State and school publishers are being restored.
