Entre las empresas y los trabajadores: Las sociedades ferroviarias “amarillas” en la Argentina, 1912-1922

Abstract

El presente artículo se propone reconstruir y examinar el desarrollo de asociaciones “amarillas” en los ferrocarriles, entendidas como parte de las estrategias que las compañías implementaron para controlar a su personal y disputar la representación obrera a los sindicatos. Busca analizar las motivaciones y fines que estas persiguieron, la recepción e inserción que tuvieron entre los trabajadores, así como las disputas que los obreros ferroviarios y sus gremios entablaron al respecto

This article aims to reconstruct and examine the development of “yellow” associations in the railways, understood as part of the strategies that the companies implemented to control their staff and dispute the workers` representation to the unions. It seeks to analyse the motivations and purposes that they pursued, the reception and insertion that they had among the workforce, as well as the disputes that the railway workers and their unions established in this regard.
