El cuerpo doble: Reflexiones en torno al “cuerpo penitenciario”

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza la formación profesional de los funcionarios del Servicio Penitenciario Federal Argentino en la actualidad. En dicho análisis le daremos importancia a los procesos de subjetivación y de objetivación que transforman a los individuos en funcionarios penitenciarios. Para ello es imprescindible comprender cuáles son las técnicas y tecnologías que se utilizan en la etapa de instrucción de los oficiales y los suboficiales de la mencionada fuerza y que tienen por objetivo la conformación de un cuerpo penitenciario. Cuerpo individual y colectivo a la vez que es demandado por la mencionada institución. En este sentido, la relación con el espacio y el tiempo, la instrucción física, las tareas colectivas y, fundamentalmente, las prácticas divisorias que separan y distinguen a los funcionarios entre sí ocuparán un lugar destacado en nuestro desarrollo en la medida en que pensamos constituyen los ejes centrales de la conformación de la subjetividad de los futuros funcionarios de esta fuerza de seguridad.

This article discusses the training of agents of the Argentine Federal Prison Service today. This analysis will give importance to the processes of subjectification and objectification that transform individuals into correctional agents. This is imperative to understand what techniques and technologies used in the investigation stage of the officials and sub- officials of that force and aim the creation of a "penitenciary’s body." Individual and collective body while it is demanded by that institution. In this sense, the relationship with space and time, physical education, collective tasks and divisory practices that separate and distinguish each other officials will figure prominently in our development to the extent that we are the central axes of the formation of the subjectivity of the future agents of this security force.
