Nada grave o grave nada: La mueca póstuma de Ángel González

Abstract

En 2008, la editorial Visor publica los últimos poemas de Angel González (Oviedo 1925, Madrid 2008), bajo el título Nada grave, dando por resultado un libro poéticamente acabado, pero a la vez inconcluso y resultado de una recopilación ajena. En ese título coloquial, vemos quizás el último guiño involuntario del poeta asturiano, con una mueca póstuma a sus lectores: ¿qué significa este tránsito a la muerte: Nada graveo grave nada? Al menos, no hay duda de que estos poemas ratifican su apuesta por una poética siempre en tránsito, integradora, imposible de cerrar, que da a la luz textos lírica de senectud, cuando el cuerpo que los habita ya ha partido.

In 2008, right after his death, Visor published Angel González’s last poems (Oviedo 1925, Madrid 2008), with the title Nada grave, a perfectly finished but at the same time inconclusive book, as the result of a collection made by other hands. The colloquial title shows the last involuntary irony of the Asturian poet to his fellow readers: what does it mean this transit to death: nothing serious or a serious nothing? At least, there is little doubt that these poems ratify his original poetics, always dynamic, impossible to close, which gives to light these post-mortem poems, in a lyric of senectute, when the body inhabiting them already has left.
