Zelig o no he leído El silenciero

Abstract

De la Escuela de Constanza al posestructuralismo, pasando por las teorías active-reader del antitextualismo norteamericano, la manera de entender la lectura ha sufrido diversas transformaciones dentro de las teorías literarias desde la década del ’60. Buscaremos aquí enfrentar esta problemática desde el concepto de no-lectura que tomamos y precisamos a partir del crítico francés Pierre Bayard. La no-lectura implica no sólo un cuestionamiento a las formas convencionales de entender la lectura sino también un nuevo modo de vincularnos con los libros a partir de un modelo específico. Procuraremos aplicar aquí este modelo a la novela El silenciero de Antonio Di Benedetto.

Since the 60´s literary theories have been under profound transformations relating to the way we approach the act of reading; from the School of Constanza to the Post structuralism, through to the theories of “active-reader” of the American antitextualism, the question about “reading” gets different answers. We try to get a response to this problematic from a “non-read” viewpoint, a concept we take from Pierre Bayard. The non-read concept assumes not only a method of questioning the notion of conventional reading but also a new way we can relate with books. I will try to develop this model with the non-reading of a particular book; “El Silenciero” by Di Benedetto.
