Estéticas y políticas festivas durante la última dictadura militar y los años 80

Abstract

Durante los años 80 existieron en Buenos Aires dos reductos culturales de alta productividad simbólica, artística y afectiva: el Café Einstein y el centro Parakultural. Se trata de dos espacios de experimentación artística de avanzada, ubicados por fuera de los circuitos oficiales del campo artístico, que se erigieron además como lugares de encuentro, intercambio y cooperación, de restitución y recreación del lazo social colectivo. En este artículo me propongo reconstruir sus principales rasgos distintivos y recuperar, a partir de su marcada impronta festiva, la potencialidad política de la fiesta como espacio colectivo donde irrumpe y se despliega con toda su vitalidad y energía la dimensión creativa de la acción social.

During the 1980s there were two cultural strongholds of high symbolic, artistic and emotional productivity in Buenos Aires: the Einstein Cafe and the Parakultural. They were two spaces of advanced artistic experimentation, located outside of the official circuits of the artistic field, that were also erected as places of encounter, exchange and cooperation, restitution and recreation of the collective social link. In this article I intend to rebuild its main distinctive features and recover, from his strong festive imprint, the political potential of the party as a collective space where it bursts and unfolds the creative dimension of social action with all its vitality and energy.
