Experiencias teatrales antes y durante la última dictadura argentina: conexiones estéticas, divergencias simbólicas

Abstract

Algunas acciones artístico-políticas consiguieron subvertir momentáneamente el status quo impuesto por la última dictadura argentina. Entre ellas, se encuentran las experiencias del TIT (Taller de Investigaciones Teatrales, 1977-1982). Este grupo se propuso actualizar la capacidad revulsiva del arte, a partir de la idea programática de cruce entre vanguardia artística y política, experimentalismo y trotskismo. Tomamos el caso del TIT con el fin de estudiar algunas posibles continuidades en materia estética que se prolongaron a través del quiebre que produjo la dictadura. Analizamos las vinculaciones entre teorías y prácticas teatrales implementadas por colectivos de teatro militante (1966/69-1974/76) y por el TIT, con la finalidad de comprobar cómo prácticas afines se cargan de sentidos distintos al ser desarrolladas antes o durante la dictadura.

Certain artistic and political actions managed to momentarily subvert the status quo imposed by the last Argentine dictatorship. Among them are the experiences of TIT (Taller de Investigaciones Teatrales, 1977-1982). The aim of this group was to update the provocative capacity of art by means of the programmatic idea of a cross between avant-garde art and politics, experimentalism and Trotskyism. We take the case of TIT in order to analyze some possible aesthetic continuities generated by the break produced by the dictatorship. We analyze the links between theories and practices implemented by activist theatre groups (1966/69-1974/76) and the TIT, in order to see how similar practices acquire different meanings if developed before or during the dictatorship.
