Sentimientos del padre actual en la etapa perinatal

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene el objetivo de evaluar los sentimientos de los padres ante sureciente paternidad, durante el proceso del embarazo, parto y puerperio de su mujer.Metodología: estudio exploratorio-transaccional. La muestra estuvo compuesta de 32 padres cuyos hijos nacieron sanos y se encontrabanen sala de internación conjunta con sus madres,durante el año 2011, en el Hospital Materno Infantil “Ana Goitía” y en “Fundación Hospitalaria”. Se administróuna entrevista a los padres, en la sala de espera, cuando venían a visitar a su bebé.Resultados: A partir de los resultados obtenidos, se pudo visualizar que en los padres el deseo de tener un hijo representa la posibilidad de consolidar su identidad como hombres, de continuar con su linaje, y que los padres, a su vez, necesitan renovar viejas relaciones con personas importantes de su pasado.Conclusión: Existeun nuevo padre sensible dispuesto a acompañar a su pareja, a proteger y a criar a su hijo. Ello demuestra que la función del padre no es secundaria a la de la madre, sino que ambos se complementan para lograr el bienestar y desarrollo del niño. La investigación demostró que debe haber una esposa y madre dispuesta a incluir al padre desde el comienzo del embarazo, permitiendo que éste la sostenga y la acompañe.

The present study aims to assess the feelings of parents to his recent fatherhood during pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium of his wife.Methodology:exploratory-transactional. The sample consisted of 32 parents whose children were born healthy and were in a hospital room together with their mothers during the year 2009, the Maternal and Child Hospital "Ana Goitía" and "Hospital Foundation". Interview was administered to parents in the waiting room when they came to visit her baby. Results:From the results, it was viewed that parents desire to have a child represents the possibility of consolid a ting their identity as men,to continue their lineage, and that parents,in turn, need to renew old relationships with important people in your past.Conclusion:There is a new sensitive parent willing to follow your partner, to protect and raise herson.This shows that the father's roleis not secondary to the mother, but both work together to ensure the welfare and development of children. The research showed that there must be a wife and mother willing to include the father from the beginning of pregnancy,allowing it to sustain and accompany you.
