Luz, iluminación y verdad en el De triplici via de San Buenaventura

Abstract

La perspectiva jerárquica bonaventuriana sobre teología trinitaria es determinante para la comprensión de su orientación metafísica, porque permite subrayar los elementos de unidad y diversidad que forman parte constitutiva de toda explicación de las relaciones entre unidad absoluta y pluralidad contingente. Vinculada estrechamente a esta orientación neoplatónica y por ello en total dependencia de su carácter iluminativo, es la explicación que desarrolla Buenaventura de la estructura metafísico-teológica como fundamento de la realidad espiritual del homo viator. En este trabajo se analizan, a partir del concepto trascendental de verdad, las instancias deductivas operantes en ese dinamismo luminoso tal como es presentado en el opúsculo De triplici vía, con la intención de señalar la unidad de fondo presente en las tres vías, unidad que impulsa al hombre en una ascensión que recorre las instancias antropológicas de la imagen, la semejanza y la deiformidad final, en el marco conceptual de la doctrina ejemplarista.

The hierarchical perspective on Trinitarian theology, as bonaventure understands it, is decisive for the understanding of its intellectual orientation in metaphysic, because it allows to underline the elements of unity and diversity that are constitutive part of any explanation of the relationship between absolute unity and contingent plurality. Closely linked to the neo-platonic orientation and, because of that, in total dependence on its illuminating nature, is the explanation that Buenaventure develops of the metaphysical-theological as the basis for the spiritual reality of the homo viator. In this paper we analyze, based on the concept of transcendental truth, the deductive instances operating in this dynamism as it is presented in the booklet De triplici via with the intention to indicate the unity present in the three viae, unity that pushes the man in the ascension that go through the anthropological instances of the image, the likeness and finaly deiformity, in the conceptual framework of the doctrine of exemplarism.
