The genus Athelopsis (Atheliales, Basidiomycota) in the Patagonian Andes

Resumen

The genus Athelopsis in Patagonia is surveyed and five species are reported. Athelopsis tenuicystidiata is described as new, differing from other species within Athelopsis mainly by the presence of large leptocystidia. Athelopsis lembospora is reported as new to Patagonia. In addition, Athelopsis glaucina, A. gloeocystidiata, A. subinconspicua, and A. virescens are commented. A key to the known athelioid fungi from Patagonia is included.
