Resumen
This article focuses in the international connections of Fascist-inspired groups in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile in the thirties and in the early forties. These Fascist organizations and newspapers had clear differences, but they shared a fascist transnational culture. These political groups fit into a `definition of peripheral fascisms, those fascisms emerged in less developed regions of the world, with social and economic structures well different to the Italian and German situations in the twenties and thirties. Peripheral fascisms combined national political activities with transnational goals, interests and self-images shared with similar organizations beyond the national borders. South-American politicians displayed a national agenda and at a same time maintained links with European Fascist parties? leaders, intellectuals and newspapers, in an effort to find international allies and, if possible, covert funding.
