El proceso de construcción y consolidación política, discursiva y cultural de la hegemonía menemista (1989-1995): Propuesta para un análisis interdisciplinario

Abstract

Durante el gobierno de Carlos Menem en Argentina se llevaron a cabo profundas transformaciones estructurales. No obstante ello, el menemismo logró conformar, y luego mantener en el tiempo, una amplia y heterogénea hegemonía. El siguiente trabajo se propone investigar el proceso de construcción y consolidación de aquella hegemonía durante el primer mandato menemista (1989-1995). Para llevar a cabo esa tarea, parte de una triple dimensión analítica que incluye los planos de la dinámica de alianzas políticas, las disputas discursivas y las interpelaciones ideológicas. En ese marco, se aplica una estrategia de análisis interdisciplinaria que integra las contribuciones de la teoría postmarxista de la hegemonía de Ernesto Laclau, la teoría psicoanalítica de la ideología de Slavoj Zizek, algunas contribuciones específicas de Jacques Lacan, y los aportes teóricos de la semiótica social de Eliseo Verón.

During the government of Carlos Menem in Argentina were carried out extensive structural changes. Nevertheless, the menemism managed to form, and then maintained over time, a large and heterogeneous hegemony. The following work investigates the process of construction and consolidation of that hegemony during his first term (1989- 1995). To carry out this task, part of a triple analytical dimension that includes the plans of the dynamics of political alliances, disputes discursive and ideological interpellation. In this context, pursuing a strategy of interdisciplinary analysis, that integrates the contributions of post-Marxist theory of hegemony of Ernesto Laclau, psychoanalytic theory of the ideology of Slavoj Zizek, some specific contributions of Jacques Lacan, and the theoretical aspects of social semiotics of Eliseo Veron.
