"Fuera la Corte Suprema": Breves notas sobre las protestas frente al máximo tribunal

Abstract

En este trabajo se realiza una breve reseña de la configuración de las protestas sociales durante la década de 1990 y de los agitados días de diciembre de 2001, para luego dar cuenta de las protestas organizadas por la Asociación de Abogados Laboralistas frente a la Corte Suprema. Se dirá que, por los fallos dictados durante el decenio de 1990 en materia laboral, los jueces de la Corte Suprema se habían transformado, para los miembros de la asociación, en actores políticos relevantes.

: In the present article a brief description is made of the characteristics of social demonstrations during the decade of 1990 and of the hectic days of December 2001, in order to make an account of the demonstrations organized by the Labor Lawyer’s Association before the Supreme Court of Justice. It will be affirmed that the judges of the Supreme Court had developed into important political or actors in the labour law field due to a series of sentences passed by them during the 90’s.
