La burguesía agraria argentina y el golpe de estado de 1976

Abstract

El presente artículo presenta un avance de investigación sobre la actuación política de la burguesía argentina en el período previo a la instauración del gobierno militar encabezado por el General Videla en 1976. Buscamos probar que ciertas fracciones de la burguesía se organizaron para impulsar la salida golpista, visualizada como única alternativa a la amenaza revolucionaria que planteaba la acción de algunos sectores de la clase obrera y de la pequeño burguesía. Nos concentraremos en particular sobre la burguesía agraria, prestando especial atención a una de las corporaciones empresarias que expresaba sus intereses: la Sociedad Rural Argentina.

This article presents an advance of investigation on the political action of the Argentine bourgeoisie in the period before the restoration of the military government headed by the General Videla in 1976. We seek to prove that certain fractions of the bourgeoisie organized to stimulate the military coup, visualized like the only alternative to the revolutionary threat of some sectors of the working and middle class. We will center especially on the agrarian bourgeoisie, paying particular attention to one of the interest groups, the one that was expressing his interests: the Argentine Rural Society.
