Políticas de la memoria: la historia del informe nunca más

Abstract

Este artículo analiza la historia del informe Nunca Más elaborado por la Comisión Nacional sobre la Desaparición de Personas creada en Argentina en 1983 para investigar el destino de los desaparecidos. Nunca Más, constituyó un éxito editorial, fue una prueba clave en el juicio a las Juntas militares, un modelo para otras comisiones de la verdad de América latina y es usado para transmitir este pasado a las nuevas generaciones. Dado su carácter canónico, se considera que su historia alumbrará las políticas de la memoria desenvueltas en torno a los desaparecidos en Argentina tras el retorno de la democracia.

This paper analyzes the history of the never again report elaborated by the National Commission on disappeared People created in 1983 in Argentina to investigate the destiny of the disappeared. Never again is the most important text on this topic; it’s was used in the judgment of the military Juntas; to transmit the past to the new generations and constituted a model of the reports of the “Truth Commissions” created in the Latin American countries. Because his canonical condition this history also shows the politics of memory on the disappearances after the return of the democracy in Argentina.
