dc.description.abstract

In this paper we try to present the Rosenzweigean conception oftemporality trough the rest (Jewish) as criticism of Universal History Hegelianphilosophy. This critical is strongly linked to the theme of the finitude of whichphilosophy would have made his opponent more denied. Will allow us to breakthe reproductive continuum elucidated the basic notes in the light of theencounter with the other "new thinking". In this regard, to the deployment of a linear, absolute and empty, while the rest as finite sets a special link toeternity, in both messianic anticipation of a future always ahead. Towards theend of our article, we looked at the issue of the Israel people in the light of theconcept of rest and its insertion in the Universal History.
