La izquierda en su laberinto: Intelectuales argentinos, ideas y publicaciones en el exilio (1976-1983)

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar 6 publicaciones editadas por intelectuales argentinos exiliados entre 1976 y 1983. La idea central del trabajo es, en primer lugar, señalar las características comunes o compartidas de dichas publicaciones, e identificar el público al que estaban dirigidas. En segundo término, analizar los temas que allí abordaban, fundamentalmente aquellos contenidos donde realizaron una revisión crítica de las posturas ideológicas de las organizaciones políticas a las que pertenecían antes del exilio. Y por último, describir cuáles fueron las razones que los condujeron a revalorizar la democracia en tanto sistema útil y eficaz para la resolución de conflictos político-sociales.

The objective of this article is to analyze some of the works published by exiled Argentinean intellectuals between 1976 and 1983. The main idea is, firstly, to show the features common to or shared by those documents and identify their target publics. Secondly, to examine the topics dealt with in the above-mentioned publications, mainly those contents intended to present a critical review of the ideological positions of the political organizations to which they belonged before the exile. Finally, to explore their opinion about democracy, as well as to examine the reasons that drove them to change their minds as well as to re-evaluate the democracy as a useful and effective system for the resolution of political and social conflicts.
