¡Soldados de la patria no apunten contra el pueblo!: El Partido Comunista Argentino en vísperas del golpe militar (1975)

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza el trabajo del Partido Comunista de Argentina con las Fuerzas Armadas. El objetivo es encontrar en la sistematización histórica de esta relación, los antecedentes de la línea política definida frente al golpe de 1976: el apoyo "táctico" al gobierno del Gral. Videla. Por otro lado, el artículo repone la influencia específica que tuvo el golpe militar en Chile en la lectura que hiciera el PCA sobre los acontecimientos argentinos entre 1973-1976.

From early 1975 until late 1982, the Argentine Communist Party (PCA) forwarded the slogan "civic-military government" or "broad democratic coalition government”. One of this research-work's questions refers precisely to the causes that led the Communist Party to rely upon one sector of the armed forces and adapt to one of the bloodiest dictatorships of Argentina's history. The present article while it does not attempt to present a resolute answer to this question, it aims to pay a contribution to the comprehension of the origin of the slogan as it was presented in 1975, considering both its theoretically programmatical grounds which supplied its sustenance, as well as the junxture-situation elements prior to the coup.
