Lo feo y lo malo

Abstract

Se aborda el tema de la belleza desde su privación que es la fealdad, como otro ángulo para clarificar lo que es propiamente la belleza, tanto desde lo bello y feo «interiores» como «exteriores». La belleza tiene relación con la verdad y el bien, pero también es una especie de bien y un bien humano, por lo que cabe preguntarnos si nos corresponde alguna responsabilidad moral respecto de la belleza. Y, por lo mismo, si su contrario, la "fealdad", comportara alguna forma de mal o de indignidad. Primero, será necesario reparar en la dimensión ontológica de la belleza. Segundo, se trata la dimensión moral de la belleza en la "trina dimensión" de la persona (verdad, bien y belleza) frente a su destino existencial. Por último, se aplican las reflexiones anteriores al arte que es obra de la belleza, y la incidencia del "ideal artístico en la persona".

This approach to beauty is by analyzing its privation that is the ugliness, as other form to clarify what is properly the beauty, and from what is at «inside» or at «outside» the beautiful and ugly things. The beauty has a relation with truth and good, but also is a kind of good and a human good; therefore we can ask if we have any moral responsibility in respect to beauty. And also, if its opposite, the ugliness, involve some wrongful or indignity. First, it will be necessary to attend the ontological beauty. Second, the moral beauty, from the «trine dimension» of the person (truth, good and beauty) in view of its existential destiny. At least, I shall apply the previous reflections to art as the work of beauty, and the influence of the artistic ideal in the person.
