El tiempo de los otros: Memorias y nuevas derechas, un análisis a partir de la carrera militante de Victoria Villarruel

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en indagar en la articulación entre las memorias de la década del setenta y las nuevas derechas políticas a partir de la reconstrucción de la carrera militante y profesional de Victoria Villarruel. El artículo busca dar cuenta de las apuestas realizadas por Villarruel desde sus inicios en el asociacionismo civil militar y la fundación del Centro de Estudios Legales (CELTYV) sobre el Terrorismo y sus Víctimas, hasta su triunfo electoral como candidata a diputada en las elecciones del año 2021 en Argentina. Para ello, se recupera una entrevista en profundidad realizada en 2017 a la presidenta del CELTYV, así como fuentes primarias y secundarias sobre el activismo de las agrupaciones de “memoria completa” y la militancia en las derechas políticas.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the articulation between the memories of the seventies and the new political right wing through the reconstruction of the militant and professional career of Victoria Villarruel. The article seeks to account for the bets made by Villarruel since her beginnings in the civil military associationism and the foundation of the Center for Legal Studies on Terrorism and its Victims (CELTYV), until her electoral triumph as a candidate for deputy in the elections of 2021 in Argentina. For this purpose, an in-depth interview conducted in 2017 with the president of CELTYV is recovered, as well as primary and secondary sources on the activism of the “complete memory” groups and militancy in the political right-wing.
