Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (diagnostic). The objectives are as follows:. To determine the accuracy of laboratory tests for the diagnosis of congenital Zika virus infection. Secondary objectives To explore potential sources of heterogeneity, and specific factors that may influence the accuracy of diagnostic tests for congenital Zika virus infection, such as geographic area, endemicity of Zika, and the reference standard used (See Investigations of heterogeneity).
