Sobre "lo independiente" y "lo estatal" en las artes escénicas platenses (2011-2021): Demanda, tensión y participación

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es describir y analizar las representaciones y mira-das recíprocas entre los/as trabajadores/as de la actuación en teatro independiente de la ciudad de La Plata y las instituciones del Estado. Para abordar este objetivo, hemos analizado desde una perspectiva cualitativa, los orígenes del teatro independiente en Argentina, las representaciones sociales que actores y actrices independientes construyen acerca de su vínculo con el Estado y las visiones y políticas culturales que el Estado aplica sobre el sector, observando las continuidades y desplazamientos en estas relaciones a partir de la situación de emergencia que generó la pandemia del COVID 19. Encontramos que la relación entre los/as teatristas independientes y las entidades estatales se ve atravesada por distintas representaciones que los sujetos construyen sobre su actividad comprendida como trabajo y la carencia de políticas culturales que se adecúen a la realidad laboral de este sector, lo cual genera complejos vínculos de tensión, demanda y participación.

The objective of this article is to describe and analyze the representations and reciprocal views between the workers of the independent theater performance of the city of La Plata and the State institutions. To address this objective, we have analyzed from a qualitative perspective, the origins of independent theater in Argentina, the social rep-resentations that independent actors and actresses build about their link with the State, and the cultural visions and policies that the State applies to the sector, observing the continuities and displacements in these relationships from the emergency situation that generated the COVID 19 pandemic. We find that the relationship between independent theater performers and state entities is crossed by different representations that subjects build on their activity understood as work and the lack of cultural policies that are adapted to the labor reality of this sector, which generates complex links of tension, demand and participation.
