Las creencias religiosas de los migrantes o la religiosidad en movimiento

Abstract

El abordaje de las características que han tenido las migraciones en la Argentina a través de las distintas etapas que han presentado desde fines delsiglo XIX hasta los últimos años ha sido profundamente abordado desde distintas perspectivas teóricas. De esta manera las singularidades de las migraciones europeas que marcaron los finales siglo XIX y comienzos del XX, la relevancia de las migraciones internas durante la década del cuarenta y del cincuenta, como la llegada de migrantes provenientes de países limítrofes han sido objeto de minuciosos estudios. Aspectos vinculados con las causas socio-económicas como políticas y sociales han conformado el interés predominante de estos abordajes sin embargo no han merecido la misma atención los aspectos vinculados con las creenciasreligiosas de los migrantes. En este trabajo nos proponemosllevar a cabo una reflexión sobre las características de dichas creencias como de susimplicancias en la vida cotidiana de los migrantes en el granBuenos Aires en los últimos años.

The aproach of the characteristics that the migrations in Argentina have had during the different periods from the end of XIX century to the last year, has been deeply adressed from different theoretical prospects. In this way the european migrations singularities which have marked the end of the XIX century and the beginning of the XX one, the relevance of the internal migrations during the forty and the fifty decade, as the arrival of migrants from neighboring countries,have been subject of extensive researchs. Aspects relationed to the socioeconomic as political and social causes, have been the principal subject of these studies. However the aspects related to the religious beliefs of the migrants have been hardly adressed. In this paper we propose to carry out a reflexion about the characteristics of those beliefs as well as their effects on the daily life of the migrants in the “Gran Buenos Aires” during the last years.
