Los dueños de la tierra: Contorno, frontera y posmemoria

Abstract

Este trabajo propone un abordaje de la novela de David Viñas Los dueños de la tierra, publicada en 1958, a partir de categorías provenientes de campos teóricos amplios vinculados entre sí, que se focalizan, por un lado; en las relaciones entre literatura, archivo y memoria y; por otro, en la vinculación entre política y literatura. David Viñas representa una figura señera, principalmente como crítico, pero también en su rol de novelista en torno a esta tensión entre cultura y realidad política.

This paper proposes an approach to the David Viñas novel The owners of the land, published in 1958, as from broad categories arising from theoretical fields linked. This fields are focused on the one hand; in relations between literature, archive and memory; on the other, the link between politics and literature. David Viñas represents a very important figure, mainly as a critic, but also in his role as novelist around this tension between culture and "political reality".
