Dianas y amazonas: pervivencia y transformación del mito en la poesía argentina contemporánea

Abstract

El culto a Diana/Artemisa puede rastrearse a lo largo de las épocas en heteróclitas fuentes. El estudio de este mito en que la virginidad fecundable y la maternidad se mantienen en suspenso permite trazar perspicaces proyecciones sobre el trasfondo doctrinal del judeo-cristianismo y su singular reapropiación por parte del barroco americano. En esta presentación, se abordarán algunos textos del siglo XX, como Árbol de Diana (1962) de Alejandra Pizarnik y Danzante de doble máscara (1985) de Diana Bellessi, a fin de observar la particular modulación que adquiere el mito de Diana, la cazadora, en la escena poética argentina.

The cult to Diana/Artemis can be tracked along time from heteroclite sources. The study of this myth, in which fecundable virginity and maternity remain suspended, allow us to trace projections about the doctrinal background of the Jewish Christianity and its peculiar appropriation from the American baroque. In this presentation, in order to observe the particular modulation that the myth of Diana, the hunter, acquire in the Argentinean poetic scene, some 20th. century texts are studied, like Alejandra Pizarnik´s Árbol de Diana (1962) and Diana Bellessi´s Danzante de doble máscara (1985) and Eroica (1988).
