Victoria Ocampo, lectora de Dante

Abstract

Este trabajo se propone analizar las interpretaciones y re-escrituras de la obra de Dante Alighieri en la producción de Victoria Ocampo. El propósito es estudiar, desde el comparatismo, el proceso de recepción y de traducción cultural e ideológica de la escritura de Dante, para contribuir en la definición del horizonte hermenéutico, la vigencia de la palabra dantesca y su inclusión en el canon literario y en el espacio cultural argentino. Esto permitirá reflexionar sobre la conformación del sistema literario argentino y el proceso de incorporación de tradiciones clásicas en el mismo.

This paper aims to analyze the interpretations and the re-writings of the work of Dante Alighieri in the production of Victoria Ocampo. The purpose is to study, from comparative perspective, the reception and the cultural and ideological translation of the writing of Dante. The aim is also to contribute to the definition of the hermeneutical horizon, the validity of the Dantesque voice and the inclusion in the literary canon and in the cultural space of Argentina. In this manner we can reflect about the formation of the Argentine literary system and about the process of incorporation of classical literary traditions in it.
