Arte público y ciudad: Vinculaciones teórico-prácticas sobre cuerpo, performance e intervención urbana (Performati(ci)dades, Río de Janeiro, 2014)

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo tiene por objeto abordar problemáticas teórico-prácticas en torno al arte público, la ciudad, el cuerpo y la performance de diferentes intervenciones urbanas. Para ello se toma como ejemplo el Coloquio Performatic(ci)dades realizado en la ciudad de Río de Janeiro en septiembre de 2014. Partiendo de esta experiencia académica de reunión e intercambio con diferentes artistas y pensadores, se desplegarán diferentes tópicos allí abordados, bajo el objetivo de registrar lo acontecido. De algún modo, el trabajo se propone documentar lo realizado los tres días de Coloquio para seguir abriendo preguntas sobre la cuestión urbano-artística contemporánea.

The following article aims to address theoretical-practical issues around public art, the city, the body and the performance of different urban interventions. The Performaticcitys Colloquium held in the city of Rio de Janeiro in September 2014 is taken as an example. Starting from this academic experience of meeting and exchange with different artists and thinkers, different topics will be deployed, in order to record what happened. Somehow, this article intends to document what was done during the three days of Colloquium to continue opening questions about the contemporary urban-artistic issue.
