De profesión, actriz: el teatro lee a Eva Perón

Abstract

Desde su trágica y temprana muerte, la figura de Eva Duarte de Perón ha sido objeto de infinidad de expresiones artísticas. Dentro de la vasta genealogía literaria en la que este personaje es el centro de atención, hay una serie de piezas teatrales que se construyen en torno a su imagen. En este trabajo, proponemos recorrer dos obras dramáticas escritas por dramaturgos argentinos pero estrenadas en el exterior. Nos referimos a Eva Perón de Copi y a Muñequita o juremos con gloria morir, de Alejandro Tantanian. A lo largo de estas páginas, realizaremos un estudio comparativo de ambos textos, lo que permite vislumbrar algunas particularidades de la constitución identitaria argentina en función de sus mitos populares.

Since her tragic and early death, the figure of Eva Duarte de Perón has been the object of countless artistic expressions. Within the vast literary genealogy in which this character is the center of attention, there are a series of theatrical pieces that are built around her image. In this work, I propose to cover two dramatic works written by Argentine dramatists but released abroad. I refer to Eva Perón by Copi and to Muñequita o juremos con gloria morir by Alejandro Tantanian. Throughout these pages, Ie will carry out a comparative study of both texts, which allows glimpsing some particularities of the Argentine identity constitution based on its popular myths.
