Neoliberalismo y transformaciones en el mundo del trabajo en la llamada "cuarta revolución industrial"

Abstract

A partir de la crisis de 2007 se han extendido los estudios acerca de la llamada “cuarta revolución industrial” anclada en la fabricación digital y, en términos más específicos, en la fabricación aditiva, la robótica avanzada, la inteligencia artificial, la Internet de las Cosas, que cuentan con importantes desarrollos a nivel mundial e implicancias en nuestro país. El neoliberalismo, en tanto proyecto civilizatorio, constituye una dimensión fundamental en las transformaciones que propone el progresivo avance de las “tecnologías emergentes” en el capitalismo actual. En este sentido, nos interesa centrarnos en el progresivo desplazamiento del sujeto-trabajador hacia el sujeto-emprendedor en relación con las mutaciones socio técnicas. Nos proponemos plantear algunas reflexiones teóricas sobre el modo en que el neoliberalismo avanza sobre el “mundo del trabajo”, creando modos de ser, pensar y hacer anclados en la figura del “emprendedor” y el “emprendimiento”. Se trata de una forma específica de ejercicio del poder que nos invita a pensar en torno a la temporalidad del trabajo y el modo en que dicha transformación implicaría una mutación en las formas de gobierno de la fuerza de trabajo. Nos centraremos en documentos que construyen al trabajo como objeto de estudio actualmente y las condiciones históricas en las que emergen.

Since the crisis of 2007, studies have spread about the so-called "fourth industrial revolution" based on digital manufacturing and, in more specific terms, additive manufacturing, advanced robotics, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, which have had important developments worldwide and implications in our country. Neoliberalism, as a civilizatory project, constitutes a fundamental dimension in the transformations proposed by the progressive advance of the "emerging technologies" in current capitalism. In this sense, we are interested in focusing on the progressive displacement of the worker-subject towards the entrepreneur-subject in relation to sociotechnical mutations. We propose to raise some theoretical reflections on the way in which neoliberalism advances on the "world of labour", creating ways of being, thinking and doing based on the figure of "entrepreneur" and "entrepreneurship". It is a specific form of exercise of power that invites us to think about the temporality of labour and the way in which such transformation would imply a mutation in the forms of government of the work force. We will focus on documents that currently construct work as an object of study and the historical conditions in which they emerge.
