Del texto al hipertexto II: La elipsis y los límites internos del texto

Abstract

Este trabajo es la segunda parte de un artículo ya publicado en el número anterior de Estudios de teoría literaria, donde busqué abordar el problema de los límites internos de la topología del texto como objeto de los estudios literarios, en el marco de la emergencia, en nuestra disciplina, de la teoría de los textos posibles. A partir del concepto de hipertexto, me propuse formular una topología del texto que comencé tiempos atrás estudiando los límites externos del texto, es decir aquellos ligados a su contexto y a la implicancia del sujeto de la lectura (que llamé en su momento contra-texto). En la primera parte publicada anteriormente, abordé la ironía como unos de los paradigmas hipertextuales que permiten comprender la espacialidad de un objeto que fundamenta la práctica de la teoría de los textos posibles como emergente en el estado actual de la disciplina. Me propongo ahora, siguiendo de cerca la propuesta de Gérard Genette, abordar el paradigma de la elipsis como figura retórica fundamental en la configuración topológica del texto.

This work is the second part of an article already published in the previous number of Estudios de teoría literaria, where we tried to address the problem of the internal limits of the text topology as an object of literary studies and in the context of the emergence of the theory of possible texts. Based on the concept of hypertext, in the previous work as in the current one, we tried to complete a topological formulation of the text that, some time ago, we began studying the external limits of the text, that is, those linked to its context and the implication of the reading subject (at the time we called it counter-text). In the first part previously published, we addressed the irony as one of the hypertextual paradigms that allow us to understand the spatiality of an object that supports the practice of the possible texts theory as emerging in the current state of the discipline. We now propose, following closely the proposal of Gerard Genette, to approach the ellipsis paradigm as a fundamental rethorical figure in the topological configuration of the text.
