Héroes, víctimas y enajenados. Los motivos de los militantes de Montoneros que participaron de la Contraofensiva (1978-1980)

Abstract

El siguiente artículo propone una reflexión historiográfica sobre los esquemas interpretativos que han analizado los motivos de los militantes de Montoneros que, habiéndose exiliado para evitar la represión estatal de la última dictadura militar (1976-1983), decidieron regresar a la Argentina durante la Contraofensiva Estratégica (1978-1980) de la organización. Estos esquemas se remontan, en algunos casos, a interpretaciones “nativas” esgrimidas desde finales de la década de 1970 por los propios militantes de la organización. En conjunto, esquematizan la trayectoria de la organización y la acción de sus militantes. En este escrito se interrogan las tres fórmulas más habituales: los “militantes héroes”, los “militantes víctimas” y los “militantes enajenados”. A partir de la contextualización de estas interpretaciones y de la explicitación de su contenido político, este artículo busca rescatar el valor de la pregunta histórica sobre el devenir montonero más allá de las fórmulas memoriales más generales que han intentado dotar de un sentido último (y lógico) a la trayectoria de Montoneros.

The following article proposes a historiographical reflection on the interpretive schemes that have analyzed the motives of the Montoneros militants who, having exiled themselves to avoid the state repression of the last military dictatorship (1976-1983), decided to return during the Strategic Counteroffensive (1978-1980) of the organization. These schemes go back, in some cases, to "native" interpretations used since the late 1970s by the militants of the organization. Together, they outline the trajectory of the organization and the action of its militants. In this paper the three most habitual formulas are interrogated: the "victim militants", the "heroic militants" and the "alienated militants". From the contextualization of these interpretations and the explanation of their political content, this article seeks to rescue the value of the historical question about the montonero becoming beyond the more general memorial formulas that have tried to endow a meaning (and logical) to the trajectory of Montoneros.
