La familia católica de Comodoro Rivadavia y el peronismo: conflictos antes y después del golpe de Estado de 1955

Abstract

Este artículo presenta el análisis de dos preocupaciones que expresaba la Iglesia católica entre finales del primer peronismo y la denominada "Revolución Libertadora": la educación y la familia. Para ello se enfoca la mirada sobre los posicionamientos de distintas organizaciones que conformaban la "familia católica" de la ciudad de Comodoro Rivadavia: la Liga de Madres y la Liga de Padres de Familia, el Partido Demócrata Cristiano, el periódico católico De Pie y la Congregación Salesiana. Se demuestra que los cuestionamientos expresados en el tramo final de la experiencia peronista, mantuvieron vigencia ante las autoridades surgidas del golpe de 1955 y en el caso educativo marcaron el antecedente inmediato al conflicto por la "Laica o Libre".

This article presents the analysis of two concerns that expressed by the Catholic Church between the end of the “first Peronism” and the denominated "Revolución Libertadora": education and family. Thats why, the focus is on the positions of different organizations that made up the "catholic family" of Comodoro Rivadavia: “Liga de Madres” and the “Liga de Padres”, “Partido Demócrata Cristiano", the Catholic newspaper “De Pie” and Salesian Congregation. It shows that the questions expressed in the final section of the Peronist experience remained valid in the face of the authorities that emerged from the 1955 putsch and marked in the educational case the immediate antecedent to the conflict by the "Laic or Free".
