Viejos y nuevos debates sobre el estatuto constitucional de las organizaciones religiosas

Abstract

El artículo aborda los debates sobre el estatuto constitucional de la Iglesia Católica y las demás organizaciones religiosas en Argentina. Tomando como punto de partida el Derecho Constitucional y el Derecho Internacional Público, desentraña los presupuestos y proyectos políticos subyacentes a las diferentes posiciones. Realiza un recorrido histórico y problematiza los términos actuales de la discusión.

The article deals with the debates about the constitutional status of the Catholic Church and the other religious organisations in Argentina. Taking Constitutional Law and International Law as a starting point, it analyses the political ideas and political projects which underlie the different positions. The article adopts a historical perspective and considers the features of the current discussion on the subject.
