Fuentes periodísticas, standing y rutinas de trabajo en las noticias de delito, inseguridad y violencia en los noticieros de AMBA

Abstract

El marco conceptual conjuga las rutinas productivas, con los estudios de indexing y standing. En el primer enfoque se abordan los modos de organización del proceso productivo, la división de tareas y las economías de tiempo que afectan las prácticas productivas. Estas rutinas están estrechamente ligadas a criterios de noticiabilidad y a la selección de fuentes. En tanto, el indexing y el standing permiten indagar el rol que las fuentes citadas desempeñan en la definición de la situación que queda plasmada en los contenidos de las noticias. El estudio forma parte del Proyecto de Investigación Orientado (PIO), financiado por el CONICET y la Defensoría del Público, y del Proyecto de Investigación en Ciencia y Tecnología (PICT), denominados "De la propiedad a la recepción. Estudio integral del circuito productivo de las noticias sobre delito e inseguridad en los noticieros televisivos de mayor audiencia de la Argentina".

This study focuses on identifying journalistic sources in crime, insecurity and violence news of major AMBA newscasts. The objective is to identify which actors involved in the analyzed pieces of news play the role of journalistic sources in the elaboration of this type of newscast and what levels of standing they get in the news. At the methodological level, a quantitative content analysis of the news broadcast on the channels El Trece and Telefé, both in prime time, is combined with a qualitative approach, consisting of semi-structured and in-depth interviews with a number of workers. The theoretical approach combines productive routines, with indexing and standing studies. The first theory addresses the ways of organization of the production process, the division of tasks and the economy of time that affect productive practices. These routines are closely linked to news criteria and source selection. On the other hand, indexing and standing allows us to investigate the role that the cited sources of information play in the definition of the situation that prevails in the news content. Comprehensive study of the production circuit of crime and insecurity news in the highest rated television news cast of Argentina”
