Política, sentido y muerte: Un acercamiento teórico-político a a "Consideración intermedia" de Max Weber

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es realizar una lectura de la Consideración intermedia de Max Weber a la luz de la noción de muerte. A pesar de que la misma fue interpretada en numerosas oportunidades al calor de la noción de «comunidad» o de «guerra», consideramos que la noción de muerte, además de ser uno de los tópicos perennes de la reflexión occidental, presenta una significativa productividad al permitir (1) estabilizar tres figuras de la muerte, a saber: la muerte en la cotidianidad, en la guerra y por la profesión; (2) clarificar la concepción weberiana de posguerra relativa al vínculo entre las masas y el liderazgo político; (3) aprehender la relevancia y el significado de la noción de muerte desde una concepción político-institucional.

The aim of this article is to realize an interpretation of Max Weber’s “Intermediate Reflections” through the concept of death. Certainly, this essay was interpreted in many opportunities through the notion of «community» or «war». However, the concept of death, beyond being a perennial topic of Western thought, presents a significant productivity which allows us (1) to draw three figures of the death: death in everyday life, death in war and death by the calling; (2) to clarify the post-war Weber’s conception of mass-leadership political link; (3) to apprehend the relevance and meaning of the notion of death from a political-institutional point of view.
