Ecos y repercusiones de la proclamación de la Segunda República y el Inicio de la Guerra Civil Española en América Latina: una aproximación preliminar

Abstract

El objetivo del artículo consiste en estudiar las repercusiones del inicio de la II República y de la sublevación del 18 de julio en diversos países de América Latina. Se estudian en particular los casos de México, Argentina, Chile y Uruguay. Se analizan estas repercusiones en el marco de ascenso de gobiernos dictatoriales y autoritarios en la mayor parte de estos países con la excepción de México desde principios de los años 30. Se estudia el modo en que actuaron frente a los dos episodios los gobiernos, las colectividades de inmigrantes españoles y los distintos grupos sociales de estos países. Se estudian las repercusiones que generó la política anticlerical del primer gobierno de la segunda república en especial frente a la disolución de la compañía de Jesús y la introducción de la educación laica. Se analizan las tensiones que estas políticas provocaron en Argentina y Chile y el apoyo que la segunda república obtuvo en México. Por otra parte, se estudia el modo en que fue recibida la noticia de la sublevación del 18 de julio de 1936. Se analiza el apoyo al ejército por los gobiernos de Uruguay y Chile y, nuevamente, el respaldo que el gobierno legal español consiguió en México

The aim of the article is to study the repercussions of the beginning of the Spanish Second Republic and the rebellion of July 18 in various Latin American countries. The cases of Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay are studied in particular. These reper cussions are analyzed in the framework of the rise of dictatorial and authoritarian governments in most of these countries with the exception of Mexico since the early 1930s. The way in which governments, the Spanish immigrant communities and the different social groups in these countries acted in the face of both episodes are studied. The repercussions generated by the anticlerical policy of the first government of the second republic are analyzed, especially in the face of the dissolution of the company o f Jesus and the introduction of secular education. The tensions that these policies provoked in Argentina and Chile and the support that the second republic obtained in Mexico are analyzed. On the other hand, the way in which the news of the uprising of Ju ly 18, 1936 was received is studied. The support for the army by the governments of Uruguay and Chile and, again, the support that the Spanish legal government obtained in Mexico is analyzed.

Целью статьи является изучение последствий начала Второй республики и мятежа 18 июля в различных странах Латинской Америки. В частности, изучаются случаи Мексики, Аргентины, Чили и Уругвая. Эти последствия анализируются в рамках прихода в начале 30-х годов диктаторских и авторитарных правительств в большинстве этих стран, за исключением Мексики. Ставится задача изучить, как правительства, объединения испанских иммигрантов и различные социальные группы этих стран реагировали на эти два эпизода. Рассматриваем отклик на анкиклерикальную политику первого правительства Второй республики, особенно перед лицом запрета Общества Иисуса и введения светского образования. В статье анализируются напряженность, которую эта политика спровоцировала в Аргентине и Чили, и поддержка, которую Вторая республика получила в Мексике. С другой стороны, изучается момент получения новостей о мятеже 18 июля 1936 г. В работе анализируется поддержка армии правительствами Уругвая и Чили и мексиканская политика помощи испанскому законному правительству.
