El lenguaje como posibilidad de lo imposible

Abstract

Partiendo de la noción derridiana de Adorno como el filósofo de la posibilidad de lo imposible, este trabajo indaga en Minima Moralia para ahondar en la relación entre razón, lenguaje y capitalismo. Lejos de postular la existencia de una filosofía del lenguaje implícita en Adorno, el trabajo se propone rastrear dos concepciones de lenguaje que en aquella obra se muestran como contrapuestas. Sostenemos que mientras una de ellas sería representativa de la expansión totalitaria del capitalismo, la otra se manifestaría como una vía de escape de aquella expansión.

Starting from the derridian notion of Adorno as the philosopher of the possibility of the impossible, this work explores Minima Moralia to delve into the relationship between reason, language and capitalism. Far from postulating an implicit philosophy of language in Adorno´s thought, the main aim of this work is to trace two opposing conceptions of language. We argue that, while one of them would be representative of the totalitarian expansion of capitalism, the other one manifests itself as an escape route from that expansion.
