La gestión de los archivos de la informática y el uso de blockchain: saberes legales y tecnológicos involucrados

Abstract

En el artículo se presenta el relevamiento realizado sobre las últimas tendencias en la gestión de archivos y el uso de la tecnología blockchain. Específicamente, se indaga sobre cuáles son los aspectos legales y los saberes tecnológicos involucrados para la gestión de archivos en la era digital. ¿Qué tipo de archivos deberíamos estar pensando para el siglo XXI? ¿El uso de blockchain podría favorecer la construcción y gestión de archivos? El artículo releva varios de los actuales problemas vinculados a los archivos y algunas de sus posibles soluciones: entre otros, larga preservación, escaneo, digitalización, disponibilidad, confiabilidad, documentos inteligentes, uso de tecnologías distribuidas blockchain, inmutabilidad. A través de esta contribución se busca visibilizar las complejidades (viejos y nuevos problemas) y resaltar cuáles son los saberes legales y tecnológicos involucrados en el diseño de archivos. La investigación mayor vinculada a este artículo procura aumentar la calidad y disponibilidad de los archivos y mejorar las investigaciones históricas y socio-culturales sobre la informática en Argentina y América Latina.

The article presents the study carried out on the latest trends in archives management and the use of blockchain technology. Specifically, it investigates what are the legal aspects and the technological knowledge involved for the management of archives in the digital age. What kind of archives should we be thinking for the XXI century? Could the use of blockchain favor the construction and management of archives? The articlereveals several of the current problems related to archives and some of their possible solutions: among others, long preservation, scanning, digitization, availability, reliability, smart documents, use of distributed blockchain technologies, immutability. Through this contribution, we seek to make visible the complexities (old and new problems) and highlight what are the legal and technological knowledge involved in the design of archives. The major research linked to this article seeks to increase the quality and availability of archives and improve historical and socio-cultural research on informatics in Argentina and Latin America.
