El actor como productor: Hacia un análisis materialista de la actuación en Buenos Aires

Abstract

Partiendo de la noción de “autor productor” acuñada por Walter Benjamin, el artículo plantea la posibilidad de pensar esta categoría y su operatividad en el teatro porteño. A partir del de- sarrollo de nociones como percepción de lo semejante, producción de sentido actoral y rutina se propone pensar a este actor productor en términos teóricos, pero también en su historicidad mediante el establecimiento de una genealogía que se inicia en el teatro de fines del siglo XVIII y llega hasta nuestros días.

Starting from the notion of “author producer” coined by Walter Benjamin, the article raises the possibility of thinking about this category and its operability in Buenos Aires theatre. From the development of notions such as perception of similarity, production of acting sense and routine, it is proposed to think about this actor producer in theoretical terms, but also in its historicity through the establishment of a genealogy which begins with the theatre of the late nineteenth century and reaches our days.
