El Estado en la teoría política de la temprana modernidad

Abstract

Este artículo revisa la teoría política del siglo XVI, a efectos de ofrecer una vista panorámica de la reflexión sobre la obligación política en el contexto de la emergencia del estado. Se inicia por el postulado de que la enseñanza política de Maquiavelo organiza la comprensión y la crítica del estado emergente y se procede a sondear las perspectivas de los monarcómacos, de la servidumbre voluntaria y de los así llamados políticos.

This article reviews the XVI century political theory, in order to provide a bird’s eye view of the reflection on political obligation during the emergence of the state. It departs from the thesis that the Machiavellian political teaching organises the understanding and the critic of the emerging state, and procedes by means of an account of the perspectives of the monarchomachs, the voluntary servidude, and the so called politiques.
