La escritura como lenguaje testamentario

Abstract

Este trabajo se propone explorar la noción derridiana de escritura, prestando especial atención a la relación entre ausencia y materialidad. Según esperamos mostrar, cómo se considere la primera resulta fundamental para una toma de posición acerca de la segunda, y para comprender el famoso pasaje “del lenguaje a la escritura” que propugnase De la gramatología. Tomaremos como principal anclaje de nuestros análisis La voz y el fenómeno, un texto que ha sido casi exclusivamente recibido en términos fenomenológicos pero cuya fecundidad rebasa, a nuestros ojos, el simple comentario a Husserl. Durante nuestros análisis nos cerniremos sobre nombres como el de Hegel o Blanchot, rastreando no sólo la viabilidad biográfico-intelectual de su señalamiento en 1967, sino examinando qué conclusiones nos permite extraer ello acerca del vínculo entre materialidad y ausencia.

This paper aims to explore Derrida’s notion of writing, paying special attention to the link between absence and materiality. As we hope to demonstrate, the consideration of the former impacts deeply on the understanding of the latter, and allows us to comprehend the enigmatic passage “from language to writing” proclaimed by Of Gramatology. We will take Speech and Phenomena as the basis of our analysis, a text that has been almost exclusively received in phenomenological terms but whose fertility exceeds, we believe, the mere comment to Husserl. During our analysis we will point out the relevance of figures such as Hegel or Blanchot, tracking not only the biographical-intellectual viability of their inclusion in 1967, but examining what conclusions this allows us to draw about the link between materiality and absence.
