Valdés Mujica: puente entre la poesía verbal y la poesía visual de Beatriz Vallejos

Abstract

Aquí se presenta, primero, el trabajo lento y progresivo de reunión de obra de la poeta y laquista santafesina Beatriz Vallejos. A lo largo de la búsqueda, este corpus reveló su sentido de cuerpo, propio y compartido, de collar de arena y de río. A la par, lo enriquecimos con el acceso a la obra plástica, dispersa y de difícil acceso. Al estudiarlo se destacó como acontecimiento decisivo para la trayectoria artístico-artesanal de Vallejos el encuentro con el imaginero laquista Carlos Valdés Mujica. Fue un hito que se sumó como cuenta del ‘collar de arena’, como parte del fluido del ‘río cercano’ y omnipresente y como marca determinante en el corpus/cuerpo. Para Vallejos la suma de la práctica de un arte plástica permitió diversificar su expresión y, a la par, llegar a su estilo poético posterior, mucho más condensado y sintético que el de los libros anteriores al mentado encuentro.

First of all, we consider the slow and progressive investigative search in order to gather Beatriz Vallejos’ artistic production, lacquer and poetry. Throughout the search, this corpus revealed its sense of body, the own and a shared one; of being a necklace of sand, also, being a river. At the same time, we enrich it with access to Beatriz’s plastic work, scattered and difficult to access. When studying it, the meeting with the Laquista imagemaker Carlos Valdés Mujica stood out as a decisive event for Vallejos' artistic-craft career. It was a milestone that is added as another ‘sand collar’ bead, as part of the fluid of the ‘nearby river’ and as a determining mark in the corpus / body. For Vallejos, the sum of the practice of a plastic art allowed herm to diversify her expression and, at the same time, reach his later poetic style, much more condensed and synthetic than that of the books prior to the aforementioned meeting.
