La Trama Semántica de la Semejanza: metáforas y experiencia en la cosmología de los Toba-taksek del Chaco Central

Abstract

El propósito de este trabajo es presentar algunas formulaciones y aproximaciones semántico-cognitivas vinculadas con los modos de referirse al entorno natural y social que utilizan los toba-taksek del Chaco Central en su vida cotidiana. Asimismo, resaltar la importancia de las metáforas espaciales, ontológicas y orientacionales, en la experiencia social-ritual-onírica y los saberes mitológicos que forman el complejo entramado simbólico del mundo de la vida toba. En este sentido, se analizan diferentes aspectos de la relación entre los modos de categorización y los usos clasificatorios respectivos, con el fin de analizar la trama semántica de las semejanzas en la configuración taksek del tiempo, la espacialidad y la otredad, en el contexto de sus plasmaciones simbólicas y sus modelos de inteligibilidad asociados.

The purpose of this work is to present some formulations and semantic-cognitive approaches related to the ways of referring to the natural and social environment that the Toba-taksek of the Central Chaco use in their daily life. Likewise, to highlight the importance of spatial, ontological and orientation metaphors in the social-ritual-dream experience and the mythological knowledge that forms the complex symbolic framework of the Toba life world. In this sense, different aspects of the relationship between the categorization modes and the respective classificatory uses are analyzed, in order to analyze the semantic fabric of the similarities in the taksek configuration of time, spatiality and otherness, in the context of their symbolic representations and their associated intelligibility models.
