Reformas legítimas y opositores violentos: el plan de reformas impulsado por el gobierno de Macri en 2017 según el diario La Nación

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar las caracterizaciones divulgadas por el diario La Nación sobre las medidas promovidas por el Gobierno nacional en la segunda mitad de 2017. La intención de reformar leyes laborales y previsionales derivó en un conflicto con fuerzas de la oposición que incluyeron protestas que finalmente fueron reprimidas por las fuerzas de seguridad. La hipótesis que planteamos es que la información difundida por el diario que analizaremos contribuyó a la reproducción de una ideología dominante, y por lo tanto se plegó a los intereses del Gobierno nacional, en detrimento de la oposición y de los sectores populares movilizados a lo largo de todo el conflicto. La investigación toma algunos rasgos de las teorías de las representaciones sociales y el análisis crítico del discurso, en el marco de un conflicto social.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the discursive characterizations disclosed by the newspaper La Nación about the measures promoted by the national government in the second half of 2017. The intention to reform labor and social security laws led to a conflict with opposition forces that included protests that were eventually suppressed by the security forces. The hypothesis we propose is that the information disseminated by the newspaper that we will analyze contributed to the reproduction of a dominant ideology, and therefore it bowed to the interests of the national government, to the detriment of the opposition and the popular sectors mobilized throughout the conflict. The research takes some features of the theories of social representations and critical analysis of discourse, in the framework of a social conflict.
