El saber psi y el campo de la salud: La circulación del discurso psicoanalítico en revistas especializadas (1946-1955)

Abstract

En este artículo analizamos los distintos modos que el discurso psicoanalítico adopta en el entramado social argentino durante los años en los que el peronismo detenta el poder, es decir, entre 1946-1955. Para ello, se ha tomado en cuenta la relación que se establece entre este saber, para aquel entonces, novedoso, y el campo de la salud. A su vez, se ha relevado el lugar que ocupa la dimensión social en este ámbito y su articulación con el psicoanálisis. Con este objetivo, se han revisado publicaciones de diversas revistas especializadas vinculadas con la psiquiatría, la pediatría, la higiene mental, la kinesiología y la medicina del trabajo. Como herramienta conceptual, hemos partido de la noción objeto discursivo empleada por el análisis del discurso. Nos ha interesado examinar los sentidos que se constituyen en torno al objeto psicoanálisis en dichos materiales. A pesar de que el vínculo entre este saber y el peronismo ha sido, por lo general, relegado en las investigaciones que buscan rastrear las huellas de su devenir en este país, en este trabajo se ha evidenciado que el objeto-saber psicoanálisis adquiere en estos años tres sentidos diferentes: como saber cuestionable, como saber teórico y como saber revolucionario. Asimismo, se ha comprobado la importancia de la dimensión social en algunos de los artículos estudiados.

In this article we analyze the different modes that psychoanalytic discourse adopted in Argentine society during the years in which Peronism held power, that is, between 1946-1955. For this, it has been considered the relationship established be-tween this knowledge, at that time, novel, and the field of health. At the same time, the place occu-pied by the social dimension in this area and its articulation with psychoanalysis have been revealed. To this end, publications from various specialized journals related to psychiatry, pediatrics, mental hygiene, kinesiology, and occupational medicine have been reviewed. As a conceptual tool, we have used the notion discursive object employed by discourse analysis. We have examined the senses that are constituted around the psychoanalyticobject in these materials. Even though the link between this knowledge and Peronism has generally been relegated in research that traces its evolution in this country, in this work it has been shown that the object-knowledge psychoanalysis acquires in these years three different meanings: as ques-tionable knowledge, as theoretical knowledge and as revolutionary knowledge. Likewise, the importance of the social dimension has been verified in some of the articles studied.
