La infancia prenatal e impotente de la escritura póstuma en dos novelas de Silvina Ocampo

Abstract

El presente trabajo explora en dos novelas de Silvina Ocampo “[El vidente]” y “[Lo mejor de la familia]”, inéditas en vida de la autora, la noción de “infancia prenatal e impotente de la escritura póstuma”. Este abordaje parte de la hipótesis de que en estas novelas se pone en juego un ensayo sobre la escritura, que recorre los textos póstumos de Ocampo en general y que en este caso particular se centra en la exposición de una escritura inconclusa prenatal–póstuma que se manifiesta como una faceta escrituraria infantil del retorno incesante de lo que puede ser de otras maneras. Dicho ensayo, en las dos novelas a examinar, se articula en torno a las nociones de recuerdo, reescritura, posibilidad y, donde el lugar del archivo y la edición cobran una relevancia determinante. Para desarrollar la hipótesis señalada el artículo estará divido en tres apartados. El primero titulado “Novela infantil prenatal”, el segundo “Novela infantil impotente” y el tercero y último “La escritura póstuma infantil”.

The present work explores in two novels by Silvina Ocampo “[The clairvoyant]” and “[The best of the family]”, unpublished in the author's life, the notion of “prenatal and impotent infancy of posthumous writing”. This approach starts from the hypothesis that in these novels an essay on writing that runs through Ocampo's posthumous texts in general is put into play and, in this particular case, focuses on the exposition of an unfinished prenatal–posthumous writing that it manifests itself as a childish writing facet of the incessant return of what can be in other ways. This essay is articulated around the notions of memory, rewriting, possibility and, where the place of the archive and the edition take on a decisive relevance. To develop the hypothesis indicated, the article will be divided into three sections. The first entitled "Prenatal Children's Novel", the second "Impotent Children's Novel" and the third and last "The Children's Posthumous Writing".
