Las redes de Madres de Plaza de Mayo con el cristianismo liberacionista: articulaciones locales, afectos y alcances

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza las tramas sociales del afecto tejidas entre Madres de Plaza de Mayo y el mundo religioso (católico y protestante fundamentalmente) que, nacidas en distintos marcos locales fueron cruciales para la transnacionalización de la búsqueda de los desaparecidos y, a la vez, facilitaron el proceso de institucionalización y descentralización de la organización Madres. Este ejercicio hecho a partir de la trama biográfica y del análisis de un archivo personal permite comprender, por un lado, el proceso colectivo de ritualización de la búsqueda a partir de la participación en misas y peregrinaciones a Luján y, por otro, el camino individual de recomposición de creencias que una porción de esas madres atravesó en dicha búsqueda individual y colectiva.

This article analyzes the social patterns of affection woven between Mothers of Plaza de Mayo and the religious world (mainly Catholic and Protestant) that, born in different local frameworks, were crucial for the transnationalization of the search for the ones who disappeared and, at the same time, facilitated the process of institutionalization and decentralization of the Mothers organization. This exercise, based on a biographical path and the analysis of a personal archive, allows us to understand, on the one hand, the collective process of ritualization of the search based on participation in masses and pilgrimages to Luján and, on the other hand, the individual path of restructuring of beliefs that a portion of these mothers went through, in that individual and collective search.
