Las luchas por la memoria y la condición social de los represaliados en el Gran Rosario

Abstract

El estudio de las luchas por los derechos humanos, de importante crecimiento en los últimos años, ha desplazado sin embargo ciertas dimensiones que han sido menos estudiadas por la investigación académica. En este artículo abordo en particular una de ellas: la condición social de los represaliados. En este sentido, a pesar de que una parte considerable de los detenidos y desaparecidos por la última dictadura militar (1976-1983) provenía de la clase obrera y sindical, la represión coordinada por las Fuerzas Armadas (FFAA) estuvo dirigida principalmente hacia la juventud de clase mediaalta políticamente movilizada y organizada. El Movimiento de Derechos Humanos (MDH) fue heredero de esta supuesta represión selectiva, conformándose mayoritariamente por familiares provenientes de esa clase media o media-alta definida por su ubicación social y su nivel de ingresos. Pero otras pertenencias identitarias, como la pertenencia a la clase obrera, surgieron y se desarrollaron en los años que siguieron a la dictadura. En particular, en este artículo me centraré en las luchas por la memoria de los desaparecidos de los cordones industriales de las zonas norte y sur del Gran Rosario (provincia de Santa Fe) que surgieron posteriormente a la conformación del MDH rosarino.

The study of the struggles for human rights, which has grown significantly in recent years, has nevertheless displaced certain dimensions that have been less studied by academic research. In this article I address one of them in particular: the social condition of the reprisals. In this sense, despite the fact that a considerable part of those detained and disappeared by the last military dictatorship (1976- 1983) came from the working class and trade unions, the repression coordinated by the Armed Forces was directed mainly towards the youth politically mobilized and organized upper-middle class. The Human Rights Movement was heir to this supposed selective repression, consisting mainly of relatives from that middle or upper-middle class defined by their social location and income level. But other identity belongings, such as belonging to the working class, emerged and developed in the years that followed the dictatorship. In particular, in this article I will focus on the struggles for the memory of the disappeared from the industrial cordons of the north and south of Greater Rosario (Santa Fe province) that emerged after the creation of the Rosario Human Rights Movement.
